About the Project,

In this Project, we aim to make the vocabulary learning process more enjoyable and easier. We want our students to find their own learning ways by using their visual intelligence and creativity. In this way, the students will both learn many words in English and enjoy with drawing and coloring.

AIMS

Students will be able to;

-          Memorize the words easily

-          Become aware of their creativity and talents

-          Have fun with learning

-          Work with their peers

PROCESS

In January

Determining the Project programme and schedule.

Determining the the students who will take part in the Project

Informing the students and taking parents’ permission.

Preparing teachers’ , schools’ and students’ introduction.

Preparing the logo ang the poster of the Project.

Preparing pre-test for teachers and the students and anaylsing them

In February

Preparing corners of the snapwords in each school coridors.

Preparing 15 words with the students about a topic which is determined by the Project members.

The activities about The safer ınternet Day.

Students- parents webinar for informing about the Project.

Third monthly teachers webinar.

In March

Preparing  new 15  words about grammatical words such as adjectives and verbs.

Preparing some activities about the snapwords learn such as a quizz or a game.

The activities about World Water Day.

Students webinar for playing Word Cloud and quiz game.

Fourth monthly teacher webinar.

In April

Preparing new 10 words decided by the Project members.

Preparing a final work (dictionary)

EXPECTED RESULTS

-          Students will learn peer work and team work.

-          Students will increase their vocabulary knowledge.

-          Students will learn English words in an enjoyable and easy way.

-          Students will realize their creativity and talents.

-          Students will keep in touch with the students in other cities and countries.

-          Students will learn English words in a permanent way.

-          Students will learn how to use some of the web2.0 tools.
